No, no. The future ruler of the world doesn’t favor one parent over the other in terms of love. But in music? You betcha. Jay is on the November cover of Vanity Fair and talks all things Blue, including that fact that when the Magna Carta came out, Blue wanted more and more, saying:

[Blue] watches [Beyoncé’s concerts] on the computer every night. But my album came out and I don’t know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album—she’s only 18 months old and I don’t play my music around the house. But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.’ She’s my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy.

So it turns out we weren’t the only ones picking up on Beyonce’s problem. Seriously though, I know they run Hollywood and all, but Beyonce concerts and Jay Z albums? Do you not have Nickelodeon or Blue’s Clues DVDs lying around? Sometimes babies need baby things. However, can you imagine the evil cackle from Ivy when B’s weave got caught in that fan? I imagine some form of gleeful clapping that changed quickly into a look of feigned sorrow. Kids, they do the darndest things.
