It’s a new year, and the first weekend of 2014 starts now! Kind of. You may still be nursing your NYE hangover, but with such an awesome array of events in Gay London, it’s hard to stay in…
Thursday 2nd January
Club Room Service
There’s no better way to shake off your New Year’s hangover than at Club Room Service tonight. Some of you may still be partying, so keep up the good work chaps and join gorgeous hosts Andrew Moore, Adam Baker and The Queen Of The Night, Jodie Harsh.
The awesome, fabulous and exceptionally unique Anton Douglas (pictured above) is celebrating his birthday tonight with a super-special DJ set, so get down there and buy him a cocktail!
Happy Birthday Anton! x
Friday 3rd January
George & Dragon, Shoreditch
This is my favourite little pub in London – which is handy, as it’s 3 minutes walk from my house! They have awesome décor, arty decorations that change with the season, fun staff that dance on the bar, Strawberry Beer on tap and a really friendly, fun, East London crowd. The music is pretty hot too, with some great up-and-coming DJs playing their funky stuff.
Saturday 4th January
Songs Of Praise: New Year Recovery Party
Make sure your first weekend of 2014 is a fabulously poptastic one, with the Songs Of Praise: New Year Recovery Party at East Bloc. This is one of our favourite London parties with a diverse crowd of hot boys, tasty twinks, hairy beats and East London hipsters – anyone and everyone who bows down to POP.
With DJs David Oh, Neil Prince, The Sugarlow Boys and a very special set from sexy Icelander, Fannar (pictured above). Check out his awesome SoundCloud here for a taste of what’s coming up!
Monday 6th January
When I was a student, back in, erm, a few years ago, Popcorn on a Monday was an institution – and it still is! Playing House, Dance and RnB with DJs DMS, Little Rob and extended sets from DJs Neroli and Paulo Moreno, this is a cracking party with a young, energetic, twinkalicious crowd. There are tons of different rooms to drink, dance and pull in.
