photo flop: “star trek” boldly goes there … but why?

Made no sense to me, either. Not since Sigourney Weaver slipped into something more comfortable in the first Alien flick have we seen a more ridiculous science fiction underwear scene.

Of course, if they wish to have Chris Pine strip down to his skivvies in the next ST flick, we won’t complain. After all, isn’t that what equal rights are all about?

This scene did make no sense at all. Honestly the movie wasn’t dreadful but there attempts to sneak in sex appeal were less then satisfactory. The sexy shot with Chris Pine, while short, was very alluring but then the entire rest of them movie (including the scene’s before and after his shirtless shot) he was sporting a less then forgiving beer gut. I would not mind him to being shirtless and stocky, but it’s ridiculous for their to such a transparent disconnect between his natural state and his physique when the clothes come off.. way to drop the ball.
