Asked what she’d do if she was gay herself:
“The second that I knew, I would have said, ‘OK, everybody, this is how it is, and either you still like me or I don’t care.’ I think that if you are gay, you just have to say ‘It’s great!’”
–Stevie Nicks interviewed for Out Magazine
I have always been a massive fan of Stevie Nicks, in fact if I’m not listening to Rumours on loop I am singing Rhiannon at the top of my lungs. In all my years of listening to her I am continuously dumfounded as to why us gays love her so much. I mean she has the voice of an untempered angel and her lyrics are among the best poetry since Edgar Allen Poe. However, all her songs are about women. I mean pretty much every single one of them! Or is it just because she was on American Horror Story Coven? I like to think that it’s because there is an unmatched humanity to her music, it’s something so genuine and unfiltered, that we can’t help but feel everything with her.
